Ghaghra

Ghaghra block is situated at about 26 KM from district headquarter Gumla. It is surrounded by Sisai Block at its East, Bishunpur Block at the west, Lohardaga District at the North and Gumla Block at its southern border. Agriculture is the chief occupation of the villagers. They depend upon farming. There are many Dams and chekdams but are not in perfect position. Farmers depend on Monsoon for irrigation. So only KHARIF crops are cultivated. This Block have some Bauxite Mines. Dewaki Temple of GOD SHIVA is 3 KM far from block headquarter.
